Enhancement to the three key systems used to compile and publish Australia's greenhouse gas emissions estimates - the Full Carbon Accounting Model (FullCAM), the Australian Greenhouse Emissions Information System (AGEIS) and Australia’s National Greenhouse Accounts (ANGA) interactive data website.
The proposal has four components:
- AGEIS and ANGA: Application modernisation, enhancement and cloud uplift to optimise performance, deliver cost efficiencies, and conform with security and accessibility requirements.
- FullCAM: Application modernisation, enhancement and cloud uplift to optimise performance, deliver cost efficiencies, and conform with security and accessibility requirements.
- New and expanded datasets for carbon modelling and verification, including more accurate, high-resolution land sector satellite data.
- Desktop and on-ground research to support the development and implementation of new carbon models for expanded agricultural and land sector emissions and abatement estimates.
