What is Procurement and Sourcing?

Procurement and Sourcing are a set of processes that government buyers undertake to find and buy digital products and services. 

Objectives

To embed the planning and fairness practices required to support modern digital sourcing in government, to:

  • Enable government buyers to consider important digital factors that support digital procurements delivering intended outcomes
  • promote transparency on the expectations for government procurement to support a vibrant, competitive ecosystem of industry sellers providing digital products and services that meet the contemporary needs.
