Virtual Servicing policy (position)

This policy describes the requirements for entities planning digital investments involving Virtual Servicing. To provide input, please contact architecture@dta.gov.au.

Applicability

Digital investment proposals are assessed against this policy by the DTA through the Digital and ICT Investment Oversight Framework (IOF).

Commonwealth entities are encouraged to apply this policy to all digital investments.

This Virtual Servicing policy position represents the DTA’s opinion of best practice and will be further refined upon feedback provided.

  • Assess the suitability of existing Virtual Servicing capabilities when planning investment in citizen-facing contact points.
