Investigations management solution (IMS)

The Investigations management solution (IMS) is a single platform for operational members to manage investigations throughout the lifecycle, including receipt of a report or request, generation of evidence briefs, and finalisation of the investigation process. It was released in April 2023 to replace the Police real-time online management information system (PROMIS).

While it has elements of a case management systems (CMS), an IMS has advance features, as it focuses on adaptive, dynamic investigative workflows. By integrating investigative methodology, investigators are able to solve complex problems, manage delicate information, and produce court-ready evidence packages.
