Guidance for using the AGA when completing Digital Capability Assessment Process forms

An accurate view of the overall digital architecture provides greater integration, interoperability and efficiencies through cross-agency reuse your proposal enables.

Find a full list of the capabilities in the Australian Government Architecture (AGA) Domain and Capability Model or by using the menu to Explore the AGA.

Mapping proposals to the DCM

The AGA organises capabilities through the domain and capability model (DCM). The DCM provides a structure for grouping and classifying digital solutions.

Mapping your proposal against the primary AGA capabilities it enables, helps ensure a strategic whole-of-government approach to ICT and digital investment.

Most proposals, even complex proposals, can be distilled down to just a few primary capabilities to describe the solutions which they incorporate. To select the AGA capabilities which best map to the solution being delivered refer to the capability descriptions.
